An up close amazing encounter with icebergs, on a glacial terminal lake. Depart from Mount Cook Village outside The Hermitage Hotel. The bus will take you on a pleasant trip to the Tasman Valley, followed by an easy 1/2hr stroll through the National Park.
Then board your MAC boat, and enjoy the ever changing ice face of theTasman Glacier icebergs on the Tasman Glacier Terminal Lake. Commentary throughout the trip by your experienced guide.

When:

From 1st October to 31st May - Departure at : 8.30am - 10am - 12.00pm - 2.00pm
  • Check in required 20mins before scheduled departure. 
  • Trips must be pre booked & paid
  • Tickets can be purchased in person from the Activity Desk located in the Retail Centre of Hermitage Hotel

We operate in a special alpine environment, a decision is made by the lead guide just before each trip based on current weather and lake conditions. As such some trips may not operate as scheduled.
